Paying homage to the career of Nike stalwart Micheal Jordan, Virgil Abloh is back with yet another iconic piece. Dubbed the Air Jordan 1 “UNC”, the joint project with Off White sees the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” red and white colour blocking scheme being substituted for a softer “Dark Powder Blue” and white colourway.
As expected, there is always an artistic element to Virgil’s releases, giving them reason to be exhibited and admired in deconstructed form.
Global release date is set for June 9th 2018 with selected stores receiving their goods from as early as May 30th. No word on estimated retail price.
